A 2007 pastel drawing on paper by listed artist Murat Kaboulov (1939-2010). This piece depicts a nude woman standing. The drawing is rendered in expressive marks and bright colors and is signed and dated to the lower left corner as well as the verso of the frame. It is presented in a black wooden frame under glass.
Russian-born artist Kaboulov studied at the prestigious Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia in the studio of Prof. E Moiseyenko and moved to Brentwood, Tennessee in 1992.
