Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Heriz Serapi runner. This wool rug features three ten-point medallions over a red field, which is populated with stlyized images of palmettes, flowers, leaves and vines. Framing the field are three borders, including a turtle-patterned main border over midnight blue. The palette is red, midnight blue, camel, burnt sienna and cream, with prominent highlights in emerald. Selvedges are overcast. Ends finish with cotton warp fringe. Unlabeled.
