This Impressionist style painting depicts a large, reflective body of water overlooking a coastal town scene featuring a bridge, sandy shore, canopy of trees and stacked lodges. To the lower right corner is a painted artist signature. The painting is presented in a cream wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- gap between painting and frame particularly to upper left; foxing marks throughout linen liner; abrasions and wear to finish of frame.
