Vintage Welch Gingerbread Mantel Clock

A Welch gingerbread mantel clock. The clock has an elegant walnut wood case with a decorative floral shaped bonnet that is accented with an etched floral design with a wood floral overlay on the crest. The clock features shaped side columns and a glass front door with a gilded image of a decorative and floral design and white metal face with black Roman numerals and hands, two brass key arbors and a brass bezel and brass ring center. Other features of the clock include a decoratively embossed brass pendulum, an 8-day Time and Strike movement, a winding key and the clock stands on a plinth style base. The clock is labeled ‘Welch’ on the face.
