A mid-century reproduction lithograph on paper titled Christ Before Pilate after a 1636 second state etching by Dutch master Rembrandt van Rijn. The piece depicts the Biblical account of Jesus appearing before Pontius Pilate prior his crucifixion, as an angry crowd gathers below. The print includes a signature in plate to the lower left. It is matted and presented under glass in a black wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- toning, mat burn and discoloration to print; warping, stains and discoloration to matting; nicks, scratches and edge wear to frame; corner joints do not meet evenly.
