This three foot by five foot forty-eight star United States flag, which was the official flag of the United States from July 4 1912 until July 3, 1949, features thirteen red and white stripes that signify the thirteen colonies and a blue field with forty-eight white stars, one for each state of the union during that time with two metal grommets in the header.
