A resin sculpture titled Venus Victus to Canova after G. Ruggeri. This Classical reproduction piece depicts a female nude draped in fabric, reclining on a fainting couch with a bone-white finish. The work is stamped with the artist’s name in mold near the figure’s feet. It is presented on a rectangular frame with a dark wood-like finish and a label to the underside reading ‘Made in Italy’.

- debris in recesses of sculpture; scuffs throughout; accretion along lower edge and underside of base.
