Tufted Persian Gabbeh Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A tufted Persian Gabbeh area rug. This wool rug features tree form motifs within paneled squares. Each square worked in alternating colors of green, navy, indigo, merigold and white over a camel colored ground. Framing the field is a solid cream border. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with a kilim skirt and braided ivory fringe at either end. Labeled with a tag to the verso indicating country of origin.
