An embellished abstract serigraph on paper by listed Pop Artist John Stango (b. 1958). This print depicts the face of Elvis Presley repeated four times in a black and yellow halftone, scribbled lines scattered throughout and a line of what appears to be Japanese text at its center. Stango is best known for his Pop Art style paintings. He earned his BA in Painting and Graphic Design from Temple University. His self-coined “American Muscle Car” style utilizes silkscreen printing and oil painting in conjunction with juxtaposed pop culture imagery and thick brushstrokes.
