An oil painting on board by an artist signing the work ‘Evans’. This piece, rendered with painterly brushstrokes, depicts a rustic house and evergreen trees at the foot of a hazy mountain. It is signed by hand to the lower right corner. The painting is housed in a bronze tone wooden frame with a paper backing and metal hanging wire to the verso. Adhered to the verso is a label from David Bendann’s.

- craqelure; some accretions; slight discoloration; minor areas of surface abrasion and paint loss; wear to frame; tears to paper backing.
