A South Asian steel alloy sculpture. This piece depicts a stylized camel-like animal with a long neck, thin legs, pointed ears, and a curled tail. It has a painted saddle blanket with an orange, red, and cream-colored floral pattern and border of red and green triangles on a black ground. To the underside of the belly there are raised inscriptions in South Asian script.

Item tested as 90.4% Iron, 1.19% Manganese, 1.6% Titanium, 2.5% Lead.

Condition

- to Fair; surface wear throughout; some chips to paint; metal oxidized.
