Antique Hand Painted Porcelain Tableware
Item Details
A thirty-two piece collection of hand painted porcelain tableware. These pieces boast a pink and yellow floral motif with gilded trim. They were likely painted by an amateur china painter around the turn of the century, probably a woman, as china painting was a very popular and socially acceptable pastime during that period. These items are signed by the artist, ‘M.Hense’ to the undersides. The group includes plates in various sizes, four teacups and a nappy.
