A carved wood figure in the style of the Yoruba people and culture of West Africa. This work resembles carvings used as dance wands during celebrations. Depicted is a stylized figure posed standing and wearing an elaborate headdress. The carving is presented atop a black rectangular base. Adhered to the underside is a hand inscribed label with additional information on this work.
