A World War II US Army Air Force officer’s winter service uniform jacket. The jacket is made of green wool fabric and has a three-button closure with a belt cinched around the waist. A sterling silver flight wings badge is attached to the right breast and sterling silver rank bars at the shoulders. A sewn-in label to the interior reads ‘Basson Military Tailors New York’. The total approximate weight of the sterling silver pins is 0.835 ozt.
