A vintage Empire Style trumeau mirror with a Currier & Ives Winter Pastime print. This rectangular mirror shares a frame with a print depicting children ice skating, and it is titled to the lower center ‘Winter Pastime’ outside of the plate with ‘Currier & Ives’ to the lower left as well. The frame features turned details, with rosette medallions capping each corner in a gilt finish. The verso offers a wire for hanging, and it goes unmarked.
Condition
- wear to the finish of the frame; minor nicks and scratches; backing is torn.
