1889 Staffordshire "Dulton" Ironstone Pitcher and Wash Basin
Item Details
An antique Staffordshire Dulton ironstone pitcher and wash basin. The pair features blue grey transfer printed floral designs to the white ground with brushed gilding to the edges and a repeating diamond and dotted border to the interior rim. The basin offers a molded basketweave pattern to the exterior while the pitcher has ridged accents to the handle and curvilinear edges leading to the dipped spout. The pitcher is marked ‘Dulton Staffordshire/England’ to the underside with the registered number ‘131562’ placing production in 1889.
