A Chinese painted folding screen using gouache and watercolor on paper. This piece features four panels and depicts a pair of blue birds with the white blossoms of a flowering tree, a small block of calligraphic lettering toward the center of the far left edge. This work is presented in a hinged frame with four decorative brackets to its upper edge.

Condition

- fair; punctures at center of screen and verso; adhesive residue over puncture on verso; wear to edges of frame; scuffs and foxing throughout ground.
