An acrylic painting on canvas by American artist Arlene LaDell Hays (born 1952) titled Following the Path. This Surrealist style piece depicts a figure riding a horse with thin and elongated limbs through a swirling rainbow ground with two tiny figures standing beneath it. The piece is signed to the lower right and dated 1998. It is presented unframed with wire to the verso for hanging.
