A bronze figurine of a young girl with flowers by listed American sculptor Malcolm Moran (1923-2011). This work depicts a young girl with pigtails, clutching a teddy bear with one hand and picking some wild flowers with the other.
The sculpture is attached to a stone base and is signed in-mold “Malcolm Moran” near the bottom edge, as well as etched into the underside. Originally from Seattle, Moran studied art at the Art Center School of Design in Los Angeles, the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and later became a designer for General Motors, Boeing, Ford, and Chrysler.
