Antique Victorian "Log Cabin" Quilt
Item Details
An antique Victorian Log Cabin pattern quilt. The quilt is constructed from red, gold, and violet velvet and brocade silk fabrics strip pieced to form concentric square blocks. It has a central medallion set within large concentric diamond shapes, and cross medallions to the four corners. The quilt has a pink backing and is hand tied with red thread. No visible maker’s marks are present.
