Santa Clara Pueblo Blackware Pottery Basket and Vases
Item Details
An assortment of signed Santa Clara Pueblo blackware pottery. Included is a basket with a twisted handle to top signed ‘Peggy’ to the underside; a cylindrical vase signed ‘Myria’ to the underside; and a bud vase with a long neck and bulbous body signed ‘Angela Salazar’ to the underside. All three pieces feature matte and gloss black geometric decoration. Also included is a small bulbous vase with incised markings including a roadrunner motif in a palette of orange and cream on a black gloss ground and signed ‘Corn Maquino’ to the underside.
