A handwoven and embroidered Baluch tribal carpet runner. This wool and goat hair rug features an infinity pattern incorporating concentric keychain diamonds, which are embroidered in indigo and red over a mocha foundation with ivory highlights. The field is framed by compound wraparound border and elem horizontal panels, featuring key patterns, diamonds; dividing these patterns are red-and-indigo raised divider strips. Selvedges are double overcast, the rug finishing at each end with mocha-colored kilim skirts, embellished with embroidered stripes, and incidental warp fringe made of goat hair. Unlabeled.
