An Art Nouveau style relief plaque with woodburning in the manner of influential artist Alphonse Mucha (1860 – 1939). This highly detailed piece depicts a woman in profile with a floriate hairpiece against elegant curvilinear design elements in the background. There is a Flemish Art Co. stamp to the verso, dated 2-11-1912.
Condition
- light wear to edges; minor scratches to surface; string for hanging is broken.
