Hand-Knotted Indo-Persian Room Size Rug

A hand-knotted Indo-Persian room size rug. The rug has been worked in shades of brown, burnt orange, sage and sepia. The ivory field is populated with sprays of stylized floral palmettes and vinery, while the compound guard borders include flower and leaf motifs. It has overcast edges and cotton warp fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
