Vintage Hardanger Fiddle with Case
Item Details
A vintage Hardanger fiddle with a case. This fiddle features a carved Lion of Norway figural headstock with wooden tuning pegs, ebonized fingerboard, spruce top and maple back and sides decorated with hand-drawn ‘rosing’ in black ink. It has a total of eight strings, four standard strings and four secondary strings underneath, with an ebonized wood tailpiece and a chin rest marked ‘France’ on the metal bracket. Comes with a hardshell case with a green velvet lining.
