An antique Federal Style banjo clock with eglomise glass panels. This unique clock features a mahogany veneered case accented with curved brass side panels, and a bald eagle shaped finial to the crest. The clock also features eglomise glass panels to the pendulum house, one panel depicts a portrait of George Washington with gilt foliate motifs, while the lower panel depicts Mount Vernon in a gilt frame. The clock face is an ivory tone and displays black Roman numerals, a chapter ring, and ornate hands, while housed behind a brass framed glass hinged door. This clock also offers a winding key, and it goes unmarked.
