Chinese Ceramic Lidded Jar

Item Details

A ceramic lidded jar. This white cylindrical ceramic jar features a fitted lid with lattice motif banded accents to the top and bottom and colorful rooster and floral accents with gold tone trim. Jar is bears an apocryphal Tongzhi reign mark to the underside, however, it was likely produced in the Republic period (1912-1949) or later in the 20th century.
