Vintage Victorian Style Chintz Upholstered Sofa

Item Details

A vintage Victorian style sofa. The backrest is arched in three places, the center lower than the two sides; each side arch is topped with a shell and leaf design pierced carving, while the center is topped with a ribbon carving. It is upholstered in a bold floral print on white. The short, cabriole legs have palm carvings at the knee, with shell carvings in between.

Condition

wooden frame has some scratching, especially around feet
has been reupholstered
