Antique Early Victorian Chest of Drawers with Mirror
Item Details
An antique early Victorian chest of drawers with mirror. This piece features a marble top with chamfered front corners over a conforming case with three graduating drawers. The full width, stacked drawers feature dovetail joinery, recessed burl veneer panels, brass batwing plates with bail handles, and a central escutcheon. This piece features decorative embellishment to the bottom of the stiles. This piece terminates on tapering, round feet. The chest includes an attached mirror with arched frame and shaped pediment flanked by scroll carved supports. There are no visible maker’s marks.
