A selection of vintage handwoven Eastern Reservation Navajo rugs, circa 1930s-1940s. The selection includes an area rug and a small rug, each featuring a geometric design. The area rug features large-scale motifs in coral and mocha over a cream colored field, which is framed by borders in coral and mocha. Its edges are hand finished. The small rug features an eye-dazzler design featuring an ‘X’ shape in serrated bands of scarlet, gray and mocha over a cream field. It has hand-finished edges and small braided cords in two corners. The rugs are unlabeled.
