An antique Chinese carved wooden peacock. The work depicts a peacock carved with fine details and embellished with a gold-toned paint, which may have been added at a later date. To the verso, a mark is stamped to the wood. The carving includes a display stand an a certificate of antiquity.

-to fair; some wear to the edges of the item; chipping and wear to the surface of the image; carving could benefit from a cleaning; to the verso, additional scratches and wear.
