A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian wool area rug. This rug offers a plush pile, and it is rendered in a palette of carnation, sky blue, ivory, rose, powder blue, pine, lime green, clementine, mauve, indigo, and apricot. The ornate ivory colored field is densely filled with an all-over floral design with sprays, and bouquets, radiating from a central bloom. The colorful field is framed in a main carnation grounded elaborate flower patterned border, along with floral meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and bound edges with an added reinforced stitching, as well as a label to the underside.
