A silver-gelatin photographic print and art books of the work of American photographer Frank Hohenberger (1876-1963). This photograph is titled Quiet After the Snowfall and is signed by the artist’s hand in graphite to lower right. It is presented in a metal frame under glass. This collection includes the book titled Frank M. Hohenberger’s Indiana Photographs which was Edited by Cecil K. Bird of the Indiana University Press dated 1993. It also includes the book titled Indiana Magazine of History: September 1975, Volume LXXI, Number 3 featuring ‘Down in the Hills o’ Brown County: Photographs by Frank M. Hohenberger’ by Lorna Lutes Sylvester. This publication was edited by Donald F. Carmony of Indiana University dated 1975.

Condition

- some silvering to photograph; abrasions to photograph along left edge with some print loss; minor nicks and wear to frame; discoloration to cover of one book; some marks and wear to both books.
