A woodblock print from the album titled Etiquette for Japanese Women (日本女体式), after Japanese artist and printmaker Ogata Gekkō (尾形月耕, 1859-1920). This piece depicts a scene of a woman teaching sumi-e ink wash paintings. This work is signed in-plate to the lower left corner of the picture plane. It is presented in a wooden frame, under glass, with a wire hanger to the verso.

- slight discoloration to paper; some wear and nicks to frame.
