An executive desk by Hekman Furniture featuring marquetry accents. This large desk features a book-matched veneer top with marquetry inlay to the center. Line and band inlay frame the circumference. It features a shallow center drawer flanked by columns of three graduated drawers to either side. Each inset drawer features dovetail joinery, flame veneer fronts, and round brass mounts with ring pulls. The lower drawers support letter-size hanging files. The desk is raised on a stepped-out base and finished to the back. The maker’s name appears to a drawer interior. A custom-cut glass top is included. This large item is located on the main level of the home; professional movers are strongly suggested.
