Chinese Cloisonné and Porcelain Assembled Garniture
Item Details
A Chinese assembled garniture including a porcelain vase and pair of cloisonné ginger jars, each with a corresponding black ground. The pair of ginger jars are topped with an acorn finial and enameled with a polychrome floral motif. They are finished with green geometric trim and marked to the base: ‘China’. These pieces are accompanied by a porcelain vase with a complementary motif of colorful birds on a flowering branch. This vessel is accented with yellow bands of floral scrolls and bears a red character mark to the base.
Condition
- spots of wear to enamel near each finial of jars; minor marks and faint scratches; light residue.
