Bronze

A grouping of three cold cast bronze reproductions of sculptures by well-listed American artist Frederic Remington (1861 – 1909). Featured are The Bronco Buster, The Rattlesnake and The Wicked Pony in one-third scale. The Rattlesnake is marked ‘Copyright NE 1993’ on one side of the base. A label from The New England Collectors Society is included to the underside. It and The Bronco Buster are accompanied by certificates.

Condition

- “The Rattlesnake”: crack on horse’s right hind leg above mud; debris on felt liner beneath base; toning and smudges throughout certificates that come with it.
- “The Bronco Buster”: scratch on horse’s right hind leg; debris on felt liner beneath base; toning and accretion on certificate that comes with it.
- “The Wicked Pony”: crack at top of horse’s tale; scuff marks along edges of base; debris on felt liner beneath base.
