A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Heriz Serapi area rug. This rug exhibits a central angular floral medallion atop a hooked lozenge in navy, rust, cream, pale yellow, green, blue and gray hues. The rug has a sizable samovar major border flanked by flower and leaf patterned minor borders. The rug is finished with cream selvedge and natural warp fringe. Unmarked.
