This piece depicts a barn at the edge of a winding stream, hazy groves of trees scattered to the foreground and background and a lightly cloudy sky hanging overhead. The painting has an illegible, obscured signature to its lower right and is mounted in a molded gold tone frame with a hanging wire to its verso.

painting shows drying cracks and alligatoring to surface; spots of discoloration to canvas; some apparent paint loss to surface of work; edge wear to frame, missing gesso ornamentation to upper left and lower right corners of frame.
