Dutch 833 Silver and Watson Company "Irish" Sterling Silver Bowls

A selection of silver bowls. This pairing features a vintage Dutch 833 silver flat-bottom bowl with an oval form decorated in a pierced lattice, foliage, and floral design, accented with chased birds. The underside is stamped with an ‘HH’ maker’s mark for H. Hooykaas, alongside the lion passant second purity standard mark in a hexagonal cartouche. The approximate weight is 4.255 ozt. This bowl is presented with a round Watson Company bowl in the Irish pattern with a six-lobed rim and a flat-bottom well. The underside is stamped with the Watson maker’s mark, ‘Sterling Silver’ and ‘A290’, as well as ‘Exemplar Irish Circa1728’. The approximate weight of the sterling bowl is 3.685 ozt.
