Item Details
A vintage, room-sized hand-knotted Persian Lavar Kerman wool area rug. This richly decorated rug features a large floral medallion to the center of a crimson red field in a soft palette of rose, blue, pink, green, sage, cream, and tan. The interior edge of the center panel has an elaborate floral band that mirrors the center medallion. The rug is framed with a wide complex border of repeating floral bouquets and botanical detailing connected with scrolling vines in a complementary palette. It has overcast edges and cropped wool warp fringe to each end. It is unlabeled.
