A vintage German Waldziter, circa 1930s. German for ‘forest zither’, a Waldzither is a type of cittern, with 9-strings laid out in 5 courses. This particular instrument has metal tuning pegs on a rounded head, a tear-drop shaped body with a spruce top, and a glass bridge. Does not include case.

Condition

- crack at soundhole.
- warping of wood where bridge sits.
- scratches/wear to finish.
- back/side binding at bottom has come undone.
