A watercolor and gouache painting titled Winter Eve dating to the 1930s. This painting depicts a cottage in a snowy winer landscape and figures calling to a dog. The painting is titled, signed, and dated illegibly with what appears to read ‘Winter Eve- AQE Scotland, B.S.R. Pnysioc, 1938.’ The painting is housed in an ornate carved wooden frame with a gold tone liner and a typed story is affixed to the verso.

Condition

- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; light wear to frame finish; chips to the lower right; discoloration to paint.
