A Chinese carved wooden sculpture with hand-written scroll. Featured is a figure in a seated position with their hands resting in their lap. The sculpture has a painted gold tone exterior. A hole in the back of the pieces opens to reveal a handwritten scroll.

Condition

- sculpture: paint chipping off and worn throughout sculpture; holes near bottom of verso; wood splitting on back above carved hole; residue on bottom.
- scroll: toning, foxing, and creases throughout; holes in ground.
