A limited edition embellished woodcut print on heavyweight rag paper titled 81-31 (Persimmon) by listed Japanese sōsaku-hanga artist Haku Maki (巻白, born Maejima Tadaaki, 1924 – 2000). The circa 1970s piece depicts an orange and green persimmon on a branch with black leaves against a dark grey background. The work is signed ‘H. Maki’ in pencil to the lower right, marked with a red artist’s seal to the lower left, titled ‘81-31 (柿)’ in pencil to the lower center and numbered to the lower margin as 36 out of an edition of 190. It is double-matted and presented under glass in a bamboo-motif wooden frame with gold tone finish, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- faint discoloration to paper and matting; minor edge wear to frame; toning and wear to frame backing.
