A hand-knotted pictorial Anatolian wool area rug. This rug features a palette of cranberry, ivory, crimson, slate, sand, and charcoal; displaying an ivory field populated with bird, tulip, florette, flowering sprays, and other floral motifs, bordered in a chain of boteh motifs. The field is framed in a repeated medallion border with sawtooth guard borders. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and a natural warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
