Japanese Imari Bowls
Item Details
A pair of Japanese porcelain Imari bowls, circa 1880-1920. There is an oblong platter and round plate, both decorated in the traditional Imari style of cobalt blue underglaze with iron red enamel embellishments. Both items show cobalt blue details to the sides including birds and flowers. These items are not marked, as is typical for pieces of this type and age.
