A lithograph titled Boy With Finch after a painting by John Brewster Jr. (1766-1854). This Early American portrait depicts a young boy in a green skeleton suit, indoors with a finch perched on his finger. The color lithograph is presented on heavy paper behind elevated glass in a gold tone wooden frame. A label to verso reads ‘New York Graphic Society LTD Print No. 6861’. John Brewster Jr. was a late 18th to mid 19th Century oil painter from Connecticut who was known for his many charming portraits of New England families and children.

Condition

- some discoloration to print; light wear to frame.
