A circa early 20th century antique hardcover copy of the Rubaiyat of Persian poet Omar Khayyam, translated by Edward Fitzgerald, and published by Siegle, Hill & Co. of London (undated). It is illustrated with color lithographs as well as embellished and colored capitals and borders, some of which are hand-tinted.It is bound in a decorative hardcover with gilt designs, including an ornate illustration of a peacock to the front board.

Condition

- moderate foxing; some discoloration to the cover; somewhat loose hinges.
