A Chinese gouache painting on silk mounted to a hanging scroll. The piece depicts chicks in a nest and a pair of cranes roosting in the branches of a pine tree with a glowing sun overhead. It is inscribed with calligraphic text an stamped with a red seal to the upper right corner. It is presented with blue brocade borders, a ceramic dowel and a string for hanging to the upper edge.

Condition

- some accretions; light wear to edges and corners; wrinkling; minor stains to surface.
